The National Assisted Voluntary Return Mechanism is a program that facilitates the return of foreigners who intend to return to their home country. It includes the processes during and after the return decision.
Who can apply to the National Assisted Voluntary Return Mechanism?
The foreigners who can apply to the National Assisted Voluntary Return Mechanism include:Türkiye
a) Those about whom a deportation decision has been taken, or those who have no right to stay legally in Türkiye even if about whom a deportation decision has not been taken,
b) Those taken under administrative detention pursuant to the 2nd paragraph of Article 57 of the Law and those who are subjected to alternative obligations to administrative detention within the scope of Article 57/A of the Law,
c) International protection status holders or applicants, those whose international protection status has been rejected, those whose international protection applications are deemed as withdrawn, those who revoke their application and inadmissible application holders
ç) Foreigners identified as victim of human trafficking.
d) Foreigners holding a humanitarian residence permit or victims of human trafficking holding a residence permit
What are the types of assistance?
Your return counseling is individual. Your counselor explains the assistance types available to you regarding the return process and reintegration. In-cash assistance, travel assistance, and in-kind assistance are some of them.
How is my travel arranged?
Your travel is organized by a voluntary returncounselor with your passport or travel documents. Your transportation costs will be covered and if necessary, administrative support will also be provided.
What is the baggage allowance?
You will be notified about the number of items and the weight of the allowed baggage before your departure. This depends on the destination and the airline, so you must make sure your luggage does not exceed these limits!

Upon your arrival to your home country, you should consult with your counselor, about your reintegration plan.
What is the reintegration plan, how is it made?
While preparing migrants to return to their home country, the Voluntary Return program contributes to the socio-economic reintegration of migrants in their home country.
